The National Art Art gallery of China (NAMOC) is a national museum which focused on the collection, research together with exhibitions of modern and contemporary artistic works in China. The main building is featuring the styles of ancient Chinese attics together with ethnic architecture, with yellow glazed tiles roofing and surrounded by Chinese trend corridors and pavilions.
The museum houses more than 100, 000 pieces collection of various types, most which are art creations in the time of establishment of new China,china Beijing tours. Moreover, there are some masterpieces of late Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty and ahead of time Republic of China as well. Most of the collections are modern and modern day works, including masterpieces involving renowned contemporary Chinese artists, award-winning works from significant art exhibitions, and several folk works. The collections of the museum including the efforts of painters like Ren Bonian, Wu Changshuo, Huang Binhong, Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, Jiang Zhaohe, Situ Qiao, Li Keran, Wu Zuoren, Ye Qianyu, Luo Gongliu and Wu Guanzhong. The museum also collects many hundreds foreign artistic works. Added to that, German collectors Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ludwig had donated 117 pieces of foreign works in 1999, including four oil paintings by Picasso which has added colors to the entire collections of the museum.
Over thousands of influential exhibitions of different kinds featuring renowned local and abroad artists have been completely held at this museum throughout the past four decades. Above and beyond influential domestic exhibitions, numerous international exhibitions like "Original Works Exhibition involving 500 Years Collected as a result of Armand Hammer", "Rural Landscape Painting Exhibition with the 19th Century in France", "Original Works Exhibition of Pablo Picasso", "Engraved Art work Exhibition of German Expressionism", "Art Exposure of Auguste Rodin", "Art Exposure of Marc Chagall", "Oriental Spirit: Art Exhibition of Joan Miro", "Collection Exposure of Austrian National Museum", "Grand Exposure of African Art", "Art Exposure of Salvador Dali", "Painting Exhibition of French Impressionism", "300 Years of European Arts--State-run Terichekov Fine Martial arts Museum Treasures Exhibition" (a significant exhibition of "Year involving Russia" in 2006), china Beijing tours, "Art in america 300 Years of Innovation", "Italian art- Italian life "(a critical exhibition of "Year with Italy" in 2006) and "From Titian to Goya Masterpieces from the Prado Museum"(an important exhibition of "Year of Spain" in 2007) were held here as well. The Lights of Dun Huang, kept in 2008, set three new records for the number of daily, monthly and singular visitors, attracting 660, 000 visitors in two months.
